Weekend Trip to Disney World, for Couples

Weekend Trip to Disney World, for Couples

Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, & dreams are forever.”
— Walt Disney

Disney World is becoming an increasingly popular destination for couples. A grown-up trip to Walt Disney World can be a responsibility-free break to experience thrills and to experience global tastes on a quick weekend getaway. I’m here to tell you Disney has something for ALL ages! There’s a whole different experience available at Disney World for adults. From my experience, here are the top things to note for a weekend trip for couple.

RECAP OF OUR WEEKEND

EPCOT

I love how Epcot can make you feel like you took a trip around the world. With their extensive food options and their adventurous showcase rides, it truly felt like a journey.

Snack around the world at Epcot’s World Showcase. Here are some spots to add to your itinerary:

United Kingdom - Rose & Crown

Morocco - Spice Road Table

France - L’Artisan des Glaces

China - Nine Dragons Restaurant

The American Adventure - Fife and Drum Tavern

Japan - Tokyo Dining

Norway - Kringla Bakeri og Cafe

Canda - Le Cellier Steakhouse

Mexico - La Cava del Tequila

My favorite rides:

Soarin’ Around the World - Takes you on a breathtaking journey through the sky, flying high from one extraordinary landmark to the next.

Mission Space - simulated NASA-style mission to Mars. Don’t be fooled, this ride is a lot more challenging than it looks.

MAGIC KINGDOM

Magic Kingdom really caters to the child at heart. Walking down the cobblestone paths made me feel like I stepped into fairytale land.

My favorite rides:

Space Mountain

Seven Dwafs Mine Train

Other things to do:

A trip to Disney Springs is a must! We were able to try some of those cool hidden bars called Speakeasies. We stopped for a cocktail at The Edison then headed through a tunnel to Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar where we had the most amazing Italian dinner. After dinner I grabbed a cupcake from the Sprinkles cupcake ATM, then picked up a few things from Kate Spade. On Sunday, we ended our trip with dinner at STK.
