Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa - Grand Cayman
My husband and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary at the Kimpton Seafire Resort in the Cayman Islands during August 9-13, 2017. Assuming you follow me on Instagram (here) I attempted to post to my stories some of my experience during my stay. Can I just say, Kimpton never disappoints! After arriving in the Cayman Islands with no luggage (Southwest didn't transfer my luggage to our connecting flight). But after that little hiccup I was greeted with open arms and a glass of champagne by Kyle, the director of front of the house. She was so empathetic and assured me I was in great hands and I was.
The resort was absolutely beautiful. Located on the Seven Mile Beach the resort is beyond compare. The decor was very upscale with fabulous amenities and the atmosphere was very laid back. The staff were very friendly and really make you feel special. The food was amazing, with 3 restaurant options all with Mediterranean style cuisine everything looked so delicious I was willing to sample everything on the menu. Try a Pina Colda from Coccoloba or a Light in August specialty cocktail from Ave, you'll be dreaming about them in your sleep. There is no detail left untouched, including cabanas to purchase and plenty of lounge seating if you want to relax around the pool or beach. If you want to hop on the jet skis, go parasailing, see the city or go on an adventure around the islands, Red Sail was right there on the beach to help, they even let you rent a Go-Pro to take with you to capture your adventure (for free!). There is something for everyone at the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa so if you're thinking about going, just book it, you won't be disappointed.
