4 Ways to Reset and Restart
Hi there, and hello, May! We're already mid-way through the year. I'm not exactly sure how this keeps happening. Life is flying by. My internal calendar is still convinced it's March, even though the days are getting longer and the weather is warming up.
I have been distracted and taking on more than necessary, whether it be projects, tasks, deadlines or events. They continue to fill my days and my mental capacity. We’ve all been stuck in a rut before. Whether it’s because of lack of motivation, stressed or bored from the monotony of day to day life, getting stuck is an inevitable part of life. Sometimes we just fall off the bandwagon and get caught up in the chaos.
Here I find myself in May, with no regrets. I just finished a 12 day cruise around the Caribbean. I'm sitting in a quiet room, listening to the waves crashing and enjoying a cool breeze. I now feel awakened and energized with a nice beach tan to show for it. Feeling pretty good. So the point is, take time for yourself, people. It matters.

Put on some Beyoncé (or one of your favorite empowering playlist).
Dream a little. Take time to dwell in in your thoughts. This quote always come to mind "where does your mind go when it wanders."
Do what you love. Spend time with family, friends, take a vacation, read a book, listen to music, watch a movie.
Start somewhere. Write, create, or share something. You'll be surprised at what you come up with. Hit "publish." Don't procrastinate or let your project linger too long. Get it done!
